These are the NEW FEATURES:
The Large Sturdy Unit Allows more Insects to be killed with each swing of the Racket because of the High Capacitance and the voltage being increased 900 volts higher than the our older 1500 volt model. This model kills all insects including the tiny Gnats and Fruit Flies which the Zap-1 could not kill.

The head is 8 1/2"x 10" and the over all length is 21 1/2".

(The competitors smaller less safe, and less powerful model that is advertised on many web sites, is on the left) The Larger Size allows you to reach out further to hit the flying Insects, to reach the ceiling to Zap with the end of the Head with the Mini-Zap (similar to a Taser Motion but on Insects) and the larger head lets you cover more area in a swing which means more pesky insects killed at a time and being able to clear the area of insects faster.

TIZ-3 has 2400 Volts of People Safe Power- Strong Welded Criss- Cross Design Guard Screens on each side of the Electrode Center Screen. The Zapping Area is between these outside guards and the center Electrode Screen.

TIZ-3 has Five Capacitors instead of one or two that most of the competitors have. Power Storage is important to have enough capacity for Multiple Insect / Bug Zapping at the same time or for Zapping Large Insects or Bugs.

TIZ-3 has a LED light that allows you to see where you are swinging in the dark or use it as a flashlight when moving from one area to another in the dark.

The picture below shows the LED light shining on to the Head of the Zapper to Attract flying insects in total darkness. If you hear flying Mosquitoes, turn on the light switch and power switch. You will hear the Zapping sound as the Mosquitoes fly into the lighted, energized head. No need to Swing the Racket Indoors. Works in a Car, Boat Cabin, Tent, Camper, Out House etc. When they are flying they come to the light and are Vaporized. Nothing is left, even if they are full of blood. The last thing you see of them is a flash of light.

TIZ-3 has a 4" long Zapping Area on the End of the Head. This Mini-Zapping area allows you to Zap Insects that are up on the Wall and the Ceiling, in the corners between the wall and the ceiling or on the Floor, along window frames, Box Elders Bugs or similar heat seeking crawling bugs on the outside walls of your house. Just slide the end of the head across the surface. Use the end of the head zapping area on Hard to reach Spiders, Ants, centipedes, Lady Bugs, Beetles, Wax Worms, Etc. Since you do not have to hold the power switch to have power, you can hold the end of the handle to reach high areas.

TIZ-3 has a Dual Feeding Tray That is only used when you want to attract insects to the unit and let it Zap them by itself. For all other times this Feeding Tray is not used. (USE THIS TRAY ONLY WHEN HANGING THE TIZ-3 INSIDE OR OUTSIDE.) This is just an extra feature to help people with different insect problems. The Tray slips onto the end of the Racket Head so that food bait that Fruit Flies or House Flies or Bees, or Hornets like which will attract them and the Head Zaps them. Smaller insects are vaporized and dissappear in a instantaneous light flash. The larger Insects that fall on the ground can be safely be eaten by Birds because No chemicals are used. If used indoors put a newpaper on the floor under the unit.

TIZ-3 comes with a Hang Rope, to hang the Zapper for storage or for hanging outside during the day to kill fruit or meat eating Bees, Hornets, Fruit Flies and House Flies. A small piece of Sardine works good for everything except Fruit eating insects.

TIZ-3 has a Head that has a Design of Screen Support that is very Strong with Heavy Duty Protective Screens and insulators, to eliminate the accidental shocks that the old model had. You are instructed not to touch the head while the power is on but if it did happen by mistake, the outside guard screens are there to prevent the shock.

TIZ-3 Uses TWO Carbon, or Alkaline or Rechargeable "D" Size Batteries (Largest Size 1 1/2 Volt Batteries for Flashlights Etc.) Lasts 4 times as long as AA batteries and 6 times as long as rechargeable batteries.
Carbon batteries last about one month of use. Alkaline will last the entire season plus part of the nexr season. Rechargables are only suggested for constant use while hanging while using the Feeder Tray to attract Insects. We have some customers in commerical situations that use 110 volt current and a step down transformer similar to a cellular phone charger from Radio Shack to power units that are hung and are killing insects all day and night.

Note: Consumer Reports did an investigation into Alkaline Batteries and found that all of them were the same except the outside wrapping. Watch the expiration dates also when buying batteries. Normally they will be marked expire 2013 or later if bought in 2010.
